Out & Equal DFW Elects 2013 Officers

The Out & Equal DFW Regional Affiliate elected its officers for 2013 on Saturday, November 17, 2012. These include:

  • Affiliate Chair - Jeffrey Gorczynski (Citi)
  • Chair Emeritus - Paul von Wupperfeld (Texas Instruments)
  • Community Outreach - Ezra Litton (MetLife)
  • Secretary - Sam Seelbach (American Airlines)
  • Treasurer - Nell Gaither (Trans Pride Initiative)

Jeffrey Gorczynski, a vice president at Citi, was re-elected to lead the Out & Equal DFW Regional Affiliate in which he has played a major role for many years as both an officer and a volunteer.

"I'm excited by the opportunity to continue leading our group's important work," said Gorczynski. "Although things are getting better for many LGBT people, there are still too many places where they cannot bring their entire selves to work. I encourage everyone to join us at Out & Equal in the fight for workplace equality!"

Paul von Wupperfeld was the first chair of the Out & Equal DFW Regional Affiliate when it was formed in 2006. In 2011, he helped engage the local community when Out & Equal brought their annual Summit to Dallas.

"I am sincerely grateful to see such a strong group of officers involved in Out & Equal DFW," said von Wupperfeld. "Each of them brings something important and unique to our efforts, helping keep the group engaged and relevant in the community."
